This Privacy Policy explains how Fruit Slice Arena ("the Game"), hosted at sasankawrites.in, handles your information. We are committed to transparency about our data practices.

2. Information We Collect

Fruit Slice Arena collects and stores the following data:

  • Player Name — Your chosen display name, stored locally in your browser and included with leaderboard entries and community posts.
  • Game Scores — Your best score and leaderboard entries, synced to Firebase Firestore.
  • Community Posts — Post titles, text content, category tags, author name, and optional images (max 500 KB), stored in Firebase Firestore.
  • Admin Session — A local flag indicating admin authentication status (stored in browser localStorage only).

3. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Display scores on the global leaderboard visible to all players.
  • Show community posts in the shared public feed.
  • Remember your player name across browser sessions (local storage).
  • Authenticate administrative actions using a securely hashed password stored in Firebase.

4. Data Storage & Security

Global data (scores, posts) is stored in Firebase Firestore, protected by Google Cloud's infrastructure security including encryption at rest and in transit. The admin password is stored as a SHA-256 hash — the plain-text password is never saved in the source code or database. Local preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage.

5. Cookies & Tracking

Fruit Slice Arena does not use cookies or tracking pixels. Firebase Analytics may collect anonymised usage metrics (page views, session duration). No personal browsing behaviour or device fingerprinting is performed by the Game itself.

6. Third-Party Services

The Game uses:

  • Firebase Firestore — Global data storage for scores and posts.
  • Firebase Analytics — Anonymised usage metrics.
  • Google Fonts — Typeface delivery (Orbitron, Rajdhani, JetBrains Mono).

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Leaderboard scores and community posts persist in Firebase Firestore indefinitely. Local data (player name, admin session) can be cleared via your browser's site data settings. To request deletion of your Firestore data, contact the administrator via sasankawrites.in.

8. Children's Privacy

The Game does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player names are user-chosen display names and do not require real identity. Parents and guardians should monitor their children's online activity.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and delete your locally stored data at any time via browser settings.
  • Request access to or deletion of your Firebase-stored data by contacting the administrator.
  • Withdraw from community features by simply not posting.

10. International Users

Fruit Slice Arena is accessible worldwide. Firebase data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. The Game complies with the spirit of GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy regulations. For specific data requests, contact the administrator.
